Generations for America Welcomes Community Advocate Tanya Eddins as Political Liaison Board Member

Updated: Apr 27

Generations for America is proud to announce the appointment of Tanya Eddins to its Board of Directors. Ms. Eddins will also serve as the organization's Political Liaison, bringing a wealth of experience in grassroots organizing and legislative advocacy at a pivotal time as the non-profit expands its mission to educate and engage citizens across South Carolina.

Raised in a patriotic household, Ms. Eddins has dedicated her career to preserving the legacy of her father's military service to our country and protecting the fundamental values of her community. She is a frequent presence at the State House, where she collaborates with fellow patriots and legislators to address substantive issues that directly impact South Carolina residents.

"We are thrilled to welcome Tanya Eddins to our leadership team," said Ingrid Centurion, Founder and President of Generations for America. "Tanya's energy and proven track record in community representation are exactly what we need to advance our mission. Her dedication to the people of South Carolina and her ability to effectively engage with our legislators as Political Liaison will be a tremendous asset as we work to protect our natural beauty and ensure the safety of our citizens."

Ms. Eddins is well known for her leadership in organizing opposition to a solar farm project, which resulted in its zoning rejection. Through this effort, she demonstrated a unique ability to balance environmental conservation with the pressing needs for housing and development. By consistently engaging with legislators—even those outside the directly affected areas—she successfully elevated community concerns to the state level. [1]

In her dual role as Board Member and Political Liaison, Ms. Eddins will focus on coordinating with government representatives regarding public safety and the preservation of South Carolina's natural beauty. Her expertise will help Generations for America emphasize the critical importance of community advocacy in state development.

Generations for America Foundation is conducting weekly webinars on the U. S. Constitution at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.
